Pets ‘n People, too!
What is an Osteo-Tam Session?
Each first session includes a homeopathy evaluation, bodywork, and a holistic care counsel that is specific to you or your pet’s individual needs to realign your body and restore your mind, body, and spirit to perfect balance.
What is Homeopathy?
In simple terms, homeopathy stimulates your body to heal itself. It is safe, gentle and effective and has no adverse effects with any medical diagnosis, and medicines that you or your pet may be taking. Each homeopathic session begins with a review of your medical history and current discomforts whether it be emotional or physical. The 1.5 to 2 hour consultation allows us to take our time and talk about your current needs, intentions and desires, and to set short and long term goals. Then we move to the bodywork part of the session.
What is a homeopathic bodywork session?
Osteo-Tam Holistic Services is unique because each bodywork session includes techniques to release stress and trigger points, relieve pain, and an analysis of your body’s meridians and a re-alignment of your body and its meridians. It is a non-conventional medicine based on manual manipulations of the musculoskeletal system combined with myofascial release techniques. Each bodywork technique (fascial, structural, or energetic, etc.) represents a panel of tools that the homeopath can decide to use according to the diagnosis established. At Osteo Tam Holistic Services we offer the following bodywork techniques in combination with our homeopathic session to realign your meridians and joints to relieve pain and restore well-being:
- Therapeutic Massage
- Reiki (Usui, Karuna, Angelic)
- Acupuncture/Acupression/Meridian Realignment
- Craniosacral Therapy
- Cold Laser Therapy
- Sound Therapy to reharmonize your nervous system and emotional body.
- Aromatherapy
- Magnetic Therapy
- Reflexology (hand or feet)
- Therapeutic Massage
What is a Holistic Care Counsel (HCC)?
At the end of each first session, you or your pet will receive an HCC that includes any or all of the following natural remedies to aide in the restoration process and rebalance your mind, body and spirit and is based entirely on your or your pet’s individual needs:
- Homeopathy
- Phytotherapy (plants or essential oils)
- Micronutrition/Nutritional Supplements
- Gemmotherapy
- Lithotherapy
- Flower Essences
- Glandular Therapy
The Holistic Care Counsel also includes a one-three month natural care/bodywork counsel specific to your individual needs within your budget.
What is emotional release therapy?
At some point in the healing process there is an emotional release. With this emotional release, healing begins. Old hurts, and stresses from fearful moments like car accidents, acts of aggression, chronic illnesses can block the healing process. Having worked in this capacity for more than two decades, Tamara has developed an intuitive approach and sensitivity. She explains that while she is working with a person or an animal, there is always a emotional release. A professional holistic counselor, she can help you work through the challenges that are causing the stress in your body. After the emotional release, you are guaranteed to feel lighter and freer, back to your true self.
How does emotional release therapy work with animals?
With animals, this intuitiveness and sensitivity is amplified. Used to absorbing the emotions of their loved ones, animals react differently when they find a safe place to share their feelings. There is a moment of insecurity and then gratitude in being able to share their emotions after they have the emotional release. These emotional releases can be as simple as releasing guilt or anger or the challenges of not understanding why they were treated badly. Oftentimes there is more than one release during the session and communication between Tamara, will coach you and your animal through these difficult emotions. These moments are profound and not only help you or your pet heal faster, but absolutely deepen the love and connection between the two of you. For people who are suffering from PTSD, anxiety, depression, phobias and have an ESA dog, these sessions are invaluable in helping us move past our blockages and fears. This technique has been useful in helping owners and animals going through end-of-life care.
How often is an Osteo-Tam Session recommended?
A bodywork session is recommended for you or your large or small animal once a year as a prevention for overall good health, and more often if you or your pet is suffering from chronic pain, illnesses or injury.
