Holistic Animal Practitioner Course

For over 20 years, Tamara has been teaching Holistic Animal Practitioner courses in person at her clinic in France.  Today, we are excited to offer some of the modules of the course online.  Yay!

As a Holistic Animal Practitioner (HAP) you will need to develop a sensitivity in your hands and an instant connection with the animal you are working with.  Because every animal is different, even if they are the same species, you will need a variety of therapeutic tools to successfully help your animal patients.  The Osteo-Tam Holistic Animal Practitioner course gives you a solid foundation plus you can choose which elective you prefer to include in your Osteo-Tam “holistic toolkit” to make your practice different from others.  Osteo-Tam ‘HAP’ program provides an in-depth holistic training to give you all of the tools and confidence to help animals heal faster, naturally and holistically with a balance of mind, body and spirit. You may specialize in horses, dogs, cats, or all animals. Working with animals as a Holistic Animal Practitioner is diversified, joyful and rewarding! At Osteo-Tam Holistic Services our goal is to prepare you to be a successful professional…  the more animals helped the better!

This Holistic Animal Practitioner course provides you with all the tools you will need to professionally care for all types of animals.

Each semester includes video, and written lessons, and live virtual classes with an Osteo-Tam HAP Teacher are included and regularly.  There is a written evaluation and video practical evaluation for each module. Mandatory case studies that you prepare will include how you used the new modality with an animal and the results, follow-ups, etc.  Each module includes 1000 hours of course work and can be completed at your own pace.

The 10-hour practical evaluation will allow you to work with all animals or specialize in dogs, cats, birds, horses, goats, cows, etc., whatever you prefer. Our experienced teachers are available to answer any questions you may have.

This course is recommended for all animal lovers who want to work with animals, animal owners, animal ostéopaths, veterinarians, veterinarian assistants, technicians and nurses.  Ask about our continuing education credits available for your clinic.

ERT + Animal Communication

Working with animals can be extremely rewarding.  When working with multiple animals back-to-back, it is important to learn how to free yourself from the energy of the animal you just worked with before visiting the next. It is also important to develop a sensibility, empathic ability to help you connect with your clients quickly and naturally.  This course will teach you how to define your intuitive strengths and work with your client’s emotional release. Bodyworkers often talk about how they often feel an emotional release while working with their patients.  We take this a step further at Osteo-Tam as we believe that releasing the emotional blockage connected to the illness, injury, pain, is a necessary part of healing.  Emotional Release Therapy “ERT” includes learning how to recognize and transform this release and then communicating with the owner what has been released.   If you are already empathic, you will learn how to develop and control these abilities.

ERT & Animal Communication Module Outline:

  • A typical day in the life of an osteopath, HAP animal session using ERT.
  • Developing your intuition and the 4 “Clairs”
  • Daily Exercises to develop your intuition.
  • Recognizing Emotional Release

  • How to communicate with animals
  • Osteo-Tam Techniques and Classic Techniques of animal communication
  • Write 10 Independent Case Studies
  • Professional Case Forms and File Keeping

MODULE 4:

Choose an Elective

Each Elective is specific to your personal interests.  All of the  modalities offered include tried-and-true natural remedies to help your client heal faster. If you decide to work with a specific type of animal, the animal you choose may determine which elective you would like to specialize in.  For example, essential oils are toxic to chickens, birds and cats but okay for all other animals. Knowledge is power in your toolkit! The more knowledge and experience you have, the better it will be to help the animals you are working with.

To become an Osteo-Tam Holistic Animal Practitioner you must complete one of the following comprehensive elective modules:

  • Homeopathy & Colloidal Elements
  • Essential Oils & Herbal Remedies
  • Flower & Crystal Essences
  • Animal Reiki 1 & 2 (includes a distant attunement and in-person attunement at the time of your end-of-course Practical Evaluation)

One elective module is required; however, students may enroll in multiple electives as desired at discounted rates.

MODULE 5: FINAL PRACTICAL TRAINING AND EVALUATION

Practical Evaluation Hours with an Osteo-Tam Instructor

Practical virtual and video training is included within each module with personal instruction by your instructor.  However, this additional in-person hands-on training and evaluation, is a 10-hour workshop.  This test is done at Osteo-Tam Holistic Services in Texas, or we can come to you for an additional charge which will be determined at the time of scheduling.  This practical training and evaluation will give you added confidence and fine tune your skills as a Holistic Animal Practitioner.  During this practical evaluation an Osteo-Tam HAP Teacher will verify your work and skill level and answer any questions. In-person Reiki attunements are also done at this time. This practical training can be completed in one-two-days or by applying for an internship with Osteo-Tam Holistic Services.  Internships are awarded on a case-by-case basis. There is an additional cost when our instructors come to you.
