Founder

Tamara Shaw is the Founder and Director of the Institute for Human–Animal Integrative Care (IHAIC) and the founder of Osteo-Tam Holistic Services.

For more than two decades, her work has focused on integrative support for both people and animals, with an emphasis on structural awareness, nervous system regulation, and relational health. Her professional experience includes wellness support, rehabilitation-based care, and collaborative follow-up work across private practice and shelter environments.

Throughout her career, Tamara has worked with thousands of large and small animals as well as human clients, and has provided training and mentorship to practitioners seeking integrative approaches within ethical scope-of-practice boundaries.

IHAIC was developed to formalize this field experience into a structured, modular, and research-informed educational framework. Under her leadership, the institute continues to expand its certification pathways, professional development programs, and interdisciplinary dialogue in human–animal integrative care.

A portion of proceeds from affiliated programs supports animal rescue initiatives.
